New Date: September 26, 2020
In light of the current restrictions and mandates in the State of Massachusetts, sadly we have to announce that we can no longer host the Wine Run on June 6th. HOWEVER, we are excited to announce that we have worked with the Vineyard and our vendors to secure the fall date of September 26th.
So we will be postponing the June 6th event until Saturday, September 26th.
Please note: We will now start at 3p, rather than 4p, to accommodate the earlier sunset at that time of year. We are also no longer selling any more event tickets. We feel that events under 500 have the most likelihood of continuing forward in today’s climate so we are setting our ticket limit at this number. If things change in the fall, we may be able to open up a few more bibs. In the meantime, we will be starting a waitlist for any new interested participants.
If you wish to join us on September 26th, there is nothing you have to do. We will just be changing all of our information on the website but your registration is g2g for the new date.
If you are unable to join us on September 26th, you can give up your bib. Please visit RunSignUp.com/profile to select this option. Click GIVE UP MY BIB under MY REGISTERED RACES. Once someone has accepted your bib from our waitlist, you will be refunded your entry fee. Because of the change in date, we have waived the fees for this option. However, the deadline to choose this option is June 6th before the normal processing fees are reinstated.
A few notes about this - if you know for sure that you cannot make the new date, please select this option immediately. This puts your bib at the top of the queue. However, once you give up your bib, you cannot get it back. You must then go on the waitlist for the next available bib.
You are also welcome to transfer your bib to a friend or family member if you know someone that wishes to attend and skip the waiting list. Again - all fees for this will be suspended until June 6th.
We are so excited to be able to have a new date to offer you, and we feel this late September date will not only be a much safer option, but a fall afternoon in the Vineyard will be just perfect for our event.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this.
